It is through travelling and human contact/experiences that my passion for cinematography came to light, and then developed.

After graduating from the Arfis Cinema School (Lyon, France) in 2002, I shot several documentaries around the world. From filming native tribes in the Amazon, roaming coast to coast in Africa, to being fully immersed with my crew in Asia...it is in these extraordinary, and sometimes extreme conditions that I learned to put into practice so many aspects of cinematography.

I then gained knowledge and experience in conventional feature films and shows as a first AC on major productions including Hitman, Braquo, Inside, Miral. I have assisted world renowned DP’s such as Martin Ruhe, Laurent Bares, Eric GauthierAntoine Roch...And whilst developing my skills with these excellent DP’s, I worked in parallel as a DP on commercials and music videos.

I am trusting, very energetic, enthusiastic, curious, and focused individual. Throughout my career, I have developed and continue to develop, a strong artistic sensibility and deep knowledge of all cinematic genres. I try and leverage my human qualities, knowhow and experience to enhance the projects I work on, and believe I possess the necessary leadership skills to drive my team in the right direction and towards success.

I signed my first feature film as a DP in Morocco called “Achoura” from Tala Selhami. This was a very ambitious horror movie, with a dark atmosphere, that gained the Special Jury mention at the Sitges festival in 2019. Then a second feature My father is not dead” from Adil el Fadili.

I have also signed the cinematography for the acclaimed documentary “Lil’Buck Real Swan” from Louis Wallecan that came out worldwide in the summer of 2020.

Still working on multiple and diverse projects, I have worked on TV shows - “DNA, “Guépardes, “Sultan Achour 10. As second unit DP for several projects such as - “Arsène Lupin”, “les Taxis rouges”, “Chamboultout”, “Un tour chez ma fille”… Also as a camera operator, working on “Burn out”, “Carbone”, “De plus belle”, and “Blockbuster”.

My passion for lighting did not stop with filming. In 2014, I founded a company called DMG lumière, designing Led lights, with ultra-high colour mixing quality and selling them in over 40 countries. The company was bought by Rosco Laboratories in 2017, and DMG lumière is now the R&D center for all Led lights for Rosco Labs.

These vast and varied experiences, be it culturally, geographically, self-driven projects, or covering different angles of the cinematic experience, have helped mold me into a consummate professional/individual. These skills I have attained, often translate into advantages for the projects I am working on.

Finally please note that I am a native French-speaker and am fluent in Spanish and English.
